Sylter Stadtgeflüster in Westerland

Small menu with delicious dishes. Atmosphere and service very nice. It's worth a visit.

We spent the last evening of our Sylt vacation in the Sylt Stadtgeflüster. Everything was perfect! The mushroom soup with Serrano ham in particular was a poem.

Very good food and drinks, nice and friendly service in the heart of Westerland. Innovative card. Unfortunately, due to the shift system, only 1.5 hours time window. This is too short.

Great team, attentive and very friendly. Nice atmosphere. The kitchen deserves kudos ... And if you don't just like wine, there is also a large selection of higher percentage drinks here.

We were in Stadtgeflüster yesterday evening and again enthusiastic about the uncomplicated perfection in all areas. Nice ambience, including pleasant music in the background, even on the terrace; relaxed, personable and highly professional service; excellent wine selection at moderate prices; the food, as always, is not only beautifully presented, but also perfect in the preparation, intensity and combination of the individual ingredients and flavors. We'll be back to let our culinary delight again! Many thanks to the whole team from the 'Sylter Stadtgeflüster'!

You should sleep one night first before venting your anger. Unfortunately I had a bad night and my big disappointment has not diminished. Two years ago we discovered the 'Sylt Stadtgeflüster' by chance and spent a magical evening there with friends on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. We are currently on Sylt again for 3 weeks and as a lover of excellent culinary art it was clear to us to enjoy the holiday start here with a great 3-course menu and accompanying wine. Unfortunately we only got a table on Friday evening ... either 5:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. We choose 5:00 p.m. The lovable Javid gave us tips of the day and took our order with a lot of humor and charm. We were pleased that a clever young refugee of Afghan descent was given a chance here. Now to the process. The service from Javid: very good The food: very good ... and filling Mood: great until the main course ... it is 6:30 p.m. and we are not quite finished with the sea bream ... the tables around us are empty and we notice that 3 service people behind the counter are apparently very nervous entertain us and also point something out to the young Javid several times. We are irritated that criticism is taking place coram publico in this restaurant. Now we are already learning the reason for the obvious nervousness. Another service person comes to our table and explains, that we have to vacate the table after 1.5 hours because the 2nd shift is on the way. We are happy to have dessert on the terrace. Apparently they forgot to point this out to us when making the reservation. Well then, we do without further wine, dessert and digestive and many a cocktail. Our figure is doing pretty well anyway, and sober we contribute to road safety. Nevertheless, we are really angry, even if we are suddenly allowed to sit down because the 2nd shift is now sitting outside. Conclusion: Our evening is messed up. It can happen that a hint is forgotten. That's human and we don't blame anyone for that. In fact, we were also about 7 minutes late ... looking for a parking space. Nevertheless, I reproach the owners of the Sylt Stadtgeflüster: We would like to enjoy this really very good culinary art, even in times of Corona. Arrive, read the menu, order, cook and enjoy ... this is not only not possible within 1.5 hours, it causes anger and stomach pain! In the future we prefer to go to one of the many other, perhaps unknown but also good restaurants / pubs where we have more time to enjoy.

I really liked it here. You were greeted nicely by the boss and brought to a nicely set table. The menu reads great and I think you make a good choice with every dish. In any case, the roulade was very tasty. The outside area is very pretty and even if you are in the middle of the center of Westerland, you will find a quiet spot here. Highly recommended and for me my highlight from the island. Price performance ratio is right here anyway.

Very tasty dishes. Have eaten here three times in a week. Great dishes with consistently high quality every time. We always got a table at lunchtime.

My husband and I went to the Sylter Stadtgeflüster twice and were very enthusiastic. Very good kitchen with great attention to detail, the staff is very warm and nice atmosphere. We would love to come back.

Great restaurant with a nice ambience. Good menu with delicious food and friendly and attentive staff. A little higher in price but not overpriced as is typical of the Sylt. Kindergarten good but for our 11 year old we ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese 2 and a dessert also fit. Reservation is recommended.

.. food was good, but also "only good". At the prices you should expect a touch of top cuisine. There are better locations on site with a better price / performance ratio. Service was quick. Portions are too small.

Nice restaurant with good service, nice interior and terrace. Nice food, acceptable prices. Was there for the second time. As with the last time, I found the portions a little too small. Still recommended.

Great restaurant, good food and nice ambience. A must for each of our stays. Been back yesterday. Kindly, a reservation was possible on the same day. The food was great, the service good, the price reasonable. See you next time, we'll be back.

Totally delicious food, every time super nice to look at and tasted really a dream! The service is also nice and attentive, you often get more information on the current daily offer or a recommendation. We always come back! :-)

Great service. Simple, timeless but cozy atmosphere. The wine top. Our food selection perfectly tailored to us. We were completely satisfied.

The service is excellent and the bread dips are great! However the main dishes that we had, were not so unique and taste average compared to its pricing. Kids menu is great, however the portion is too big.
